The Two Twelve Medical Center in Chaska is about to get an 18,000 square foot expansion for PrarieCare, a health services division focused on psychiatric and behavioral health. This new development is set to open in 2014.
“We are excited to further expand critical behavioral health services in the Twin Cities. This expansion will increase capacity for youth Partial Hospital Program (PHP) and an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), as well as adult and family outpatient mental health clinic services,” said Todd Archbold, PrairieCare’s Chief Development Officer.

It’s hard to go wrong when a play company adapts a classic tale beloved by so many. The River City Theatre is doing just that. They are putting on Arsenic and Old Lace, a story that was written for the stage back in 1939 by Joseph Kesselring, but was also adapted into a movie starring the adored Carey Grant in 1944.
MnDot recently approved Carver County for an additional $400,000 for their Highway 212 Corridor Study. This money will be appropriated to help improve design of the highway system, right of way acquisition, and construction. This study will begin by prioritizing how to spend the money on these research projects surrounding safety, plans for the corridor, and construction. This extra money could help make this planning process easier.

Not only will you be skiing under different circumstances, but you also have a chance to experience the Carver County Parks in the evening. If you don’t have skis, or you don’t know how to ski, equipment rental and simple lessons are available with event participation. Renting equipment is first come first serve however, so you might want to get there early if you need skis and such. The event costs $4 per person, or $15 per family. Ski

Not only will Santa be present, but there will be plenty of activities and events for kids of all ages. The ev
